Long Beach with white sand stretching is an excellent place to dive and watch the beautiful sunset coral. You can take the Longtail train for 100baht/way/person or cross the forest walkway, which will take about 20 minutes from Tonsai port. There will be many signposts along the way, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost.

Located in the southwest of Tonsai Bay, Monkey Beach has the white powdery sand and emerald green sea. Just hearing the name can imagine that this island is full of monkeys. However, you also need to be careful when you hold anything in your hand because the monkeys can snatch you at any time. They are pretty aggressive, so don’t tease them.

4.3. Maya Bay:

Maya Bay is considered the most beautiful tourist destination in Koh Phi Phi; if you come to Koh Phi Phi without visiting Maya Beach, you will waste the whole trip. To get to Maya Beach, you can rent a longtail boat or take a tour of the northern islands.

If you want to go deep into the beach, you will have to pay about 400 baht for an adult, and if you just visit around near the beach, there is no fee.

Until 2021, Maya Beach is temporarily closed to deal with the environmental pollution in the bay and at the same time restore coral reefs, mangroves, and waters.

But the latest updates in January 2022, Maya Beach is welcoming tourists for the first time for consecutive 3 years.

4.4. Bamboo Island:

Bamboo island belongs to National Marine Park; you will have to pay a fee of 400 baht when you go through the gate. However, if you have visited Maya Bay before, you only need to pay 200 baht. Furthermore, this place has the advantage of being more secluded than Maya Bay, and you can experience diving, sunbathing, and exploring many places here.

4.5. Pileh Bay:

Pileh Bay is a small, shallow and narrow bay located on the Koh Phi Phi archipelago, with extensive coral reefs growing along the entrance to the bay. The water in the bay is blue all year round, the sand on the shore is white and very fine; that’s why the name “earth paradise” has been associated with Phileh Bay.

This spot allows you to view Koh Phi Phi from above with a very cheap ticket price of only 30baht/person.
